Finding the right music to convey the mood is probably one of the more challenging parts of this project. How lucky it is that I stumbled on this song that perfectly (and coincidentally!) syncs so well with the animation! 🙌🏼 💕 Next Inktober comes out this Wednesday!

INKTOBER 1: Cat | Animated Ink Drawings
This is kind of a late post but I’ve decided to revive my Tumblr account 😅 Anyway, here’s my first ever offering for the annual Inktober art challenge! My theme is animals + motion aka “Animotion”. Due to the nature of what I’ll be doing I’m only aiming for 13 Inktober works instead of 31 (13 is still a “Halloween” number right?), and they will be released Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays of October 2017. As a fan tribute to one of my favorite Disney Princess movies Beauty and the Beast, I animated Emma Watson singing a snippet of Belle’s song.
I’ve had the idea to make this since the audio of Emma singing “Something There” was released online, but because I’ve never done something like this before, it took me a looooong while to finish! 😅 (and I’ve gained SO MUCH MORE RESPECT for traditional Disney animators 🙌🏼 seriously, tracing Belle’s body made me appreciate all the detail and subtleties poured in each frame 👏🏼).
